By creating an account or using AquaNet, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

AquaNet is a directory and curriculum-sharing platform for aquaculture faculty at colleges and universities. Features may change, and faculty accounts are approved at our discretion.

Your account

• You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• Faculty accounts are intended for educators at accredited post-secondary institutions.
• You may not share accounts. Each user needs their own login.

Your content

You retain ownership of the curriculum content you upload. You grant us the limited license needed to host, process, and display it to other authorized users of the platform, in line with the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

• Only upload content you have the right to share. Respect copyright and institutional licensing.
• No harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit material, or content unsuitable for an academic audience.
• Don't attempt to compromise the security of the platform or other users' data.
• Don't upload malware or use the service to send spam.

Moderation

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. We aim to keep AquaNet a safe, professional space appropriate for use on school and university networks.

Service availability

The service is provided "as is". We make no warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AquaNet and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data arising from use of the service.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
